Jon mentioned we'd be at Drupal Camp LA this weekend, but he didn't mention what all we're doing and how big of an event this really is.

There are currently well over 300 400 people registered. WorkHabit is going to be 16 people strong at Drupal Camp and we're going to be talking quite a bit. Drupal Camp is billed as big training session, and we're getting involved with everything sessions on everything from software development, to beginner info, to community involvement.

Jon is giving the opening day talk along with Acquia's Kieran Lal. He's also talking about scalable hosting architectures for Drupal.

Aaron and Dom are talking about how to bring ecommerce to your site using Amazon's Web Services.

Joel's talking Saturday about how to get involved in the Drupal community. Sunday he's teaching people what all the terms in Drupal mean and how to get around in "The difference between a Story and a Page; A peek into the nomenclature of Drupal's inner workings."

Ben's going to show off some JQuery magic and demonstrate how to build a module that pulls in images from Flickr to build a slideshow in Drupal.

Finally I'm going to demonstrate how to get Drupal running in the cloud on Amazon EC2. I'm also talking to developers about why you'd want your modules to expose an API and how you'd go about doing that.

In addition to the people mentioned above, we'll have lots more WorkHabit people on hand to meet and greet. Troy, David, Alex, Harry, Mike, Kyle, Gary, Earnest, Jim, and another Troy will all be there.

Hope to see you there.

Wonderful event and presentations

The presentations were top notch!!!
