Just a quick update to let everyone know that our new website is now into it's production phase. We've been so busy with client projects for the last couple of months that we haven't had a single free resource to work on Internal projects, except for our Insidr intranet and AutoPilot.

Insidr is a really interesting project. For our own internal use, we've tied Jive clearspaceX, OpenFire, and of course Drupal together into one single identity that allows seamless inside/outside communication for all three platforms.

Anyways, the theory goes that Jive + Drupal + Identity platform should be the core communications platform for building social companies, and that you should be able to use it as a central repository for a small business's communications. To this we are currently adding Asterisk with Skype integration (I've been playing with ChanSkype and Skip2PBX). It would speed things along if Skype had a proper API, but you take what you can get. There still isn't a server that will run on Solaris available that I can find.

I hope to be able to bolt on outside services now that we've solved the identity and profile problem, including Google Apps. Anyone working on Drupal driving Google Apps?

AutoPilot: Before Boston

For those who keep asking, AutoPilot preview WILL BE ready before Drupalcon Boston. Watch this blog over the next week for more information.

Turns out this whole build management, social content thing with Drupal is a little more complicated than even I imagined, but I can't wait to get this in the hands of the community, instead of the small number of clients we're currently testing things out with.

I really think this is now the tool that the community has been waiting for, and can't wait to see how we can work together to make it better.

That's the update. They'll be a lot more life on the site as well as plenty more blog posts over the coming month as we come into Drupalcon, so stay tuned!
